I wish I had this shower!

Bloody Plumber

I'm a bit groggy this morning, we got woken up by 3 burly firemen banging on the door at 4am! It turns out our downstairs neighbour called them because water was dripping from his ceiling! It was coming from our shower. The firemen ordered us to turn out water mains off. The shower that was only recently "fixed" by the plumber!

So its Saturday morning, we're trying to get hold of our Letting agents and the plumber which is proving to be very complicated, we have no water and we can't offer our guests a shower.

I guess it's something to tell the grand kids one day!!

........I do wish I had a better look the the firemen though ;)

spring is here

Isn't spring beautiful!!

I wan't to go on holiday....

I love to travel. I love seeing new places. I still really want go travelling around the world, leave everything and just go. It's on my "things to do before I'm 30" list. I'll do it, one day...... I know a few people who have done it and they all say it is the best thing they've ever done.

Anyway, I have been looking through my photo's and here are some of the places I've visited this year....

My boy was working in the Netherlands for a couple of weeks back in March, that gave me a good excuse to go visit him :D.....We spent weekend in Amsterdam, it was my first time and his 2nd or 3rd (can't remember!?) so he acted as my tour guide. We mainly just walked around, I found the red light district quite disturbing....We wanted to go the Van Gogh museum but the queue was just too long, I mean, I like Van Gogh but not that much!!......

I enjoyed the Dam, a bit too much "British Chav's" for my liking but all in all it was fun..... at least now I can say I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt!


Back in January I had to go to Berne, Switzerland for work. I was only there for a few days and I was working during the day but I did have some time to look around one afternoon....

Hi, my name is MacNik and I'm a blog addict....

So, I have been a blog addict for a couple of years now. My daily internet routine includes checking out a number of blogs, mainly from chic Filipina's like http://daphneosena.livejournal.com/ and http://chuvaness.livejournal.com/. Their blogs have introduced me to a number of other blogs....hence my daily routine now includes spending at least a coouple of hours blog surfing.

Well, anyway, my geek of a bf last night said...."why don't you set up your own blog?"....So here I am with my poor excuse for a blog :S ......I promise to try my best to write interesting stuff but as you will see over time my life is not as interesting as the one of my favourite bloggers but anywhoo here goes!
